It was a fun week! We had our all-school trip to the Great Wall, started two new library programs, and are always changing things around in the library.

In our second reading of The Secret of the Jade Bangle, Anne begins cooking up some fun Vietnamese recipes! She loves cooking these new dishes because it helps her learn about what it was like for her parents when they were growing up. She also learns that Grandma Noi had a very difficult life when she left Vietnam for Canada. Will Anne learn to stand up for herself and be proud of her culture?
