This week we have a very special announcement! The primary has a new librarian, Ms. Ray Wang (王睿)! She will be teaching our students in grades 1, 2, and 3 and will also be in the library ASA on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Stop by and introduce yourself!
She has studied and advanced in the field of libraries, and has obtained a certificate for library teacher training and a qualification certificate for junior high school English teachers. She passed TEM 4 exam and has been working in the library industry for about 3 years, during which she has developed a rich teaching experience and a profound understanding of the educational philosophy and teaching methods in the library industry. In her free time she likes to read books and play tennis.
她在图书馆领域学习进修，取得了图书馆教师培训证书和初中英语教师资格证书。 通过了英语专业四级考试，从事图书馆行业近3年，积累了丰富的教学经验，对图书馆行业的教育理念和教学方法有深刻的理解。 空闲时间她喜欢读书和打网球。

This week Ms. Ray taught our younger students a special lesson about library rules! The students had to solve three puzzles to complete the challenge and prove they could be good library citizens. Our students blew us away with how smart they are and how well they solved the challenges!

G1-4 Adopt-a-Shelf 采用架子
This month’s Adopt-a-Shelf bookshelf was adopted by four students all in G1-4: Kira, Eric, Leah, and Lionel. These students got creative in decorating with sequins, stickers, and even a fun sign! Come on over to the library to check out their new amazing display.

This week we read chapter 1 of the long-awaited Last Gamer Standing by Katie Zhao. Students were very excited to read this! We have a lot of students that play video games, so TheRuiNar’s story as she battles opponents and earns points to upgrade her weapons was a familiar one. Interested in reading the second chapter?
