Happy Love of Reading Week! This week we’re planning some extra fun activities to get students more involved in reading and using the library. Take a look below at our schedule of events.

All-School Activities
We have two all-school activities: our book fair and our Love of Reading Week hallway display. The book fair is from Share Kids Books and will be held in the basement of building C from Monday-Wednesday, 8am-5pm. It will have English and Chinese books for primary and secondary students. The Love of Reading Week hallway display is on the first floor in building C. Students can fill out a Reading Recommendation paper and pin it to the wall. Come check out what all our students and teachers are reading! Finally: a raffle! When students attend Love of Reading Week activities, they will receive a raffle ticket that can be used to win prizes at the end of the week. Winners will be announced on Friday!

Primary Activities 小学活动
We have a special activity every day for our primary students! Activities will be held in the primary library during WIN time from 11:45am-12:45pm.

Monday: take a polaroid photo with your favorite book

Tuesday: make your own bookmark with stickers and paper

Wednesday: write blackout and headline poetry using old books and magazines

Secondary Activities 中学活动
For secondary students, activities will be held in the secondary library during WIN time from 11:45am-12:45pm on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

THISDL Library
