Mr. Armstrong’s grade 8 class continued learning about our databases and how to research. This included an in-depth walk-through of both of our databases, Britannica and JSTOR, a guided exercise on source evaluation using the TRAPPED method, brainstorming using mind maps, and note-taking using a top-down bullet point method or the collegiate-level Cornell method. It was a lot of information, but thank you so much to the students for sticking it out with me!

Ms. Claire is Reading

Yes, I’m reading ANOTHER Princess Diaries book. They’re really good! Super funny, witty, meaningful, and heartwarming. I’m glad there are so many books in this series! It has definitely become a go-to comfort series.
