At first, the numbers got all mixed up and ended up in the wrong places, but with the help of clever One and magical Zero finally found their cozy homes under the twinkling night sky. This is a delightful tale of teamwork and problem-solving that had us all smiling!

Blast off into Math and Science Week with The Alien Next Door! When a new kid, Zeke, moves in, Zack starts to suspect he might be an alien—after all, Zeke is too good at science and always seems to know the answers! As Zack investigates, he learns that science isn’t just about facts—it’s about observing, questioning, and discovering the unknown. Just like real scientists, we can use math and science to solve mysteries, explore new ideas, and maybe even uncover something out of this world!

We read The Wild Robot with our upper primary students and also shared the movie adaptation from this series. The story follows Roz, a robot abandoned on a wild island, who manages to survive with the help of her animal friends—and she succeeds! This sparked discussions about how to control the development of AI, in case “they” one day develop individual minds. As mentioned in the first book and the movie, “This is just the beginning of the story,” leaving our students curious and eager to explore the rest of the series!
