Younger Primary G1-2 年级小学生

We had so much fun learning the skill of “I can write my opinion about this book!” using Duck! Rabbit! by Amy Rosenthal. Students practiced sharing their own ideas and learned how to back them up with evidence. It was wonderful to see everyone excited to express their thoughts with confidence!

Grade 2 had a blast exploring nonfiction with Great White Shark vs. Killer Whale from the Animal Battles series, learning the key differences between fish and mammals along the way. They also discovered how tools like the glossary and index make nonfiction easier to navigate, before diving into more exciting nonfiction books in the library.

Older Primary G3-5 年级小学生

Our older primary students had a wild time reading What If You Had Animal Teeth? by Sandra Markle, a fun nonfiction book that shows how animals use their teeth in all kinds of amazing ways. Students joined in by matching different animal traits to their hosts and exploring the unique features of nonfiction books along the way.
