Character Day Cosplays 角色变装秀
Always a student favorite, Character Day is not complete without cosplays! Students were encouraged to dress up as their favorite book character and to bring the book as a part of their costume. What a creative and fun way to share our favorite books!

Door Discovery 门饰探索之旅
The character decorations don’t stop at the cosplaying! Students also worked with their homerooms to decorate their classroom doors to the theme of a favorite books. From iconic characters like Harry Potter, classics like Alice in Wonderland, and new trends like Wicked, it was great seeing all the beautiful designs!

Learn facts about 20 different book characters by completing a logic puzzle. Students had to work with their classmates to figure out which facts matched which character!

Character Battle: Who Would Win?
In the style of the card game “War,” students were each given their own mini deck of cards with 20 book characters. Each card had the character’s stats as well as an extra skill they had. Based on different scenarios, students had to argue with their opponent about which character would win in that specific challenge. There were definitely some heated battles!

Character Twin Personality Quiz
Have you ever wondered what you would be like in a book? Take the Character Twin Personality Quiz to find out! High school students answered 20 detailed questions about their own personality to find which book character was most like them. Character Day Countdown 角色日倒计时投票
Introducing the Character Day Countdown! A new activity this year, this is a bracket-style voting game. We started with 16 iconic book characters, ranging from distinguished classics to newer icons. Each day, students voted in their homeroom to cut down the character list from 16 to 8, 8 to 4, 4 to 2, and finally to the winner! This year’s winner of the Character Day Countdown was…Sherlock Holmes!
