For the last several weeks, our THISDL students have been singing “One Love” by the famous Bob Marley every time the end-of-class bell rang. Time to put a face to the music! The Bob Marley book in the Little People, Big Dreams series by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara is a kid-friendly biography of the great Jamaican musician Bob Marley. Take a moment to learn more about his life, and next time you hear “One Love” you’ll know the history!

One of my new year’s goals is to finish some book series that I left unfinished last year. I’m continuing that this week! When Night Breaks is the second book in the Kingdom of Cards series by Janella Angeles. This series is actually pretty similar to the Once Upon a Broken Heart series by Stephanie Garber that I finished last week because both involve magic shows with real fantasy magic! This week’s book focuses on Kallia, a champion magician who is locked in a mirror realm and must find a way back home.
