Everyone knows the history of Nian, the Chinese New Year Dragon, and how it attacked ancient villages. These ancient stories created many of the traditions people still celebrate today, such as the fireworks and wearing red. This week Ms. Claire worked with the high school English teachers and offered a book talk lesson to showcase some of our new titles! This special lesson included an emoji-based game where students had to figure out which emojis matched which new book. At the end of the game, students were invited to check out new books for their upcoming winter holiday.
本周,董老师与高中英语教师合作开展了一场图书推介课,重点展示了部分新到馆藏。这堂特色课程设计了表情符号猜书游戏,学生需要根据表情组合猜出对应的新书。课程结束后,同学们纷纷为即将到来的寒假借阅了新书。
